Farmers Market Returns to Riverside Park

After a two-year absence, the Saturday farmers market is back at Riverside Park, with thirty-one vendors selling produce, cheese, bread, and flowers. Organizers say the new location near the bandstand offers more shade and easier parking than the old lot on Front Street.

The market runs from eight until one through the end of October. Several vendors accept food assistance benefits, and a token program doubles their value for fruit and vegetables.
