The Trouble With Productivity Advice
Every productivity system I have tried has worked beautifully for about eleven days. Then life intervenes, the system collapses, and I am left with a half-used notebook and a lingering sense of personal failure.
I have come to suspect the problem is not the systems but the premise: that the goal of a day is to get the most done. Some of my most important days were ones where I got almost nothing done at all.
